i wasn't planning on doing anything too big. i'm getting up there in the years so birthdays kind of become something you forget about at least when they're your own. but i love that you wanted to. :) rachel's birthday was the same as mine actually. [jrklea; baw ;;] that sounds absolutely delicious. i didn't even know those types of cupcakes existed!

i understand. i never want anything too big on my birthdays. i don't like the spotlight being on me. did you just imply you're old? because you are not old whatsoever! and of course i wanted to. [ There's a small pause as ffff ;; ] i didn't know that. is that why you didn't want anything too big? [ WELL ;; ] omg all kinds of cupcakes exist. they keep coming up with new things. i can't even keep all of them straight.

I remember you don't, but we still celebrate them because it's important so I'm glad you reminded me of that. i needed the reminding. I am a little old, Anne. [Tiny smirk though and then fff jrl;ea ;;] Part of the reason, but there are a lot of them. [Reasons. ;;] We should light a candle on one of the cupcakes for her too tonight. [jrkle;a /DIES] I had no idea! Then again I don't tend to cook or bake much for obvious reasons. [Ahem. >>] Pancakes are about as far as I can go.

We can absolutely celebrate all of our birthdays according to how everyone prefers them. Some like a big fuss made about them and others don't. I'll remind you every year! And you are not even a little old. [ fff and Anne understands that, which is why she doesn't press. ;; ] I think that's a beautiful idea. One for her and one for Robin. Just 'cause he'd have liked to be involved if she was. [ LMFAO WELL ] i can show you all the new recipes. and not everyone likes to cook! that's why you have me. :)

That's what I thought even a little cake is better than no recognition of it at all as it is important. Every year we get and every year we have together is very important. Thank you for the yearly reminders. :) [And fff it is good to believe ;; that there will be many years ahead of them, to not expect Anne to be gone, to disappear one day.] Not even a tiny bit old? [She smiles and nods in agreement.] They should always be remembered, and he would have. [LMFAO rjkle;a.] I like it, but I'm not necessarily the very best at it. In the world. I put up a good effort though. I'd love to see those new recipes. :)

it is very important. it signals another year and that's something to be celebrated. the how-to of the celebration rests entirely on you. unless you'd rather i take over, which you know, you've taught me well as your assistant so i do know a thing or two. [ She will not disappear one day, Marfa. None of them will bc the narrations have decided it long ago for you. ;; ] not even a tiny bit! i know things. like i know they would both like that very much. [ Along with Martha having her day. ] wes and i will handle the cooking side of things. it's not like you aren't amazing at everything else ever.

it is important especially given how years go here and everything else. every year we all spend together is worthy of that celebration. :) how about we take it on together? we're a good team in that sense. [that makes her smile.] thank god for you both, and i am not amazing at everything

I do love our teamwork of the past and the fruits of our labor every time. Maybe we can just have a dinner at home with the usual suspects and anyone else you'd like to invite? that would be low-key but still a celebration. [ WELL marfa is my favorite so this is only fair. u.u ] practically amazing at everything! is that better?
